Magnus Furugård is Co-Founder as well as President and Managing Director of GES Investment Services International since 1992. He is focusing on business and product development as well as strategic consulting and services for clients. Before founding GES, Magnus was a Greenpeace campaigner within Energy and Nuclear Weapons, Management Consultant and Officer in the Royal Swedish Navy. He has a Master of Science in Business administration from the Stockholm School of Economics. Magnus speaks Swedish and English. |

Erik Alhøj is Managing Director of GES Investment Services Denmark since 2001. He has a Master’s degree in Business and Economics from the University of Aarhus. Erik has worked as a business journalist and editor at several media - most lately as business editor of Ugebrevet Mandag Morgen. He has a long experience in accounting analysis and company valuation, based upon financial and non-financial methods. Erik speaks Danish and English. |

Martin Pitura is Managing Director of GES Investment Services Poland since 2004. He is responsible for all research produced at the office and is servicing the Polish market as well as the rest of New Europe. In cooperation with the whole company he is also working as a product developer. For many years, Martin was a project manager and responsible for the administration at Humanix Funds. He has a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the International Business School in Jönköping. Martin speaks Polish, Swedish, English and German. |

Patrick Wirth is Managing Director of GES Investment Services Switzerland since 2009. He is servicing the markets in Austria, Germany and Switzerland and explores further business opportunities in this region. In cooperation with the whole company he is also working as a product developer. Before he joined GES, Patrick was Research Director at the Swiss asset manager Care Group. He has a Master of Science in Environmental Engineering of ETH Zurich. Patrick speaks German and English. |

Linda Björk is Research Analyst. She is focused on the extractive industry within the GES Global Ethical Standard and leads company engagements. Linda also conducts engagement with international fund managers to promote integration of ESG issues in their investment processes. Before she joined GES, Linda was Advocacy Advisor at the Swedish NGO Forum Syd in Nicaragua. She holds a Master of Science in Business Administration from the Gothenburg School of Economics and Commercial Law. Linda speaks Swedish, English, French and Spanish. |

Malgorzata Celmer is Research Analyst. Her work focuses on analysis of issues concerning companies' adherence to the principles of Corporate Governance. Malgorzata is also responsible for news monitoring and providing analyses for Climate Change issues. She is also conducting research on companies involved in controversial business activities. Malgorzata holds a Bachelor’s degree in English and is currently doing a Master’s degree in Human Resources Management in Poznan. She speaks Polish and English. |

Shane Chaplin is Senior Research Analyst. He focuses on ESG performance of companies within the extractive industries sector related to the GES Global Ethical Standard, and leads company engagements. Shane has over twelve years experience consulting on sustainability issues. This includes aid sector assignments financed by SIDA, the World Bank and the EU, and private sector roles such as HSE advisor to Woodside Petroleum. Shane holds an Honours Degree in Environmental Biology from Curtin University of Technology, Western Australia. He speaks English and Swedish. |

Josefine Ekros is Senior Research Analyst within the GES Global Ethical Standard. She is currently working with the retail industry and has previously worked for three years with the energy sector. She leads company engagement with a focus on labour rights and supply chain monitoring. Josefine is also responsible for GES' work on resolutions and is in charge of client assignments. Previously, Josefine worked within the humanitarian aid sector (UN and European Commission) and with PR/Public Affairs consulting. She has a Master of Arts in European Politics from College of Europe and speaks Swedish, English and French. |

Marta Gorska is Senior Research Analyst. She has a Master of Political Science from the University of Zielona Góra, with special focus on Political Systems. During the studies, Marta was a co-organizer of conferences on human rights and international law. Previously, she held a position as an administration and promotion specialist in an IT company. She has also been engaged in developing CSR projects at "Dalej Razem” – Autistic People Association in Zielona Góra. Marta speaks Polish and English |

Magdalena Grzempa is Research Analyst. She is responsible for identifying companies on the global stock market that are involved in controversial business activities such as weapons, tobacco, alcohol etc. She has a Master’s degree in Economics from the University of Economics in Poznan, with special focus on Human Resource Management, and a Bachelor’s degree in Food Technology from the Higher Vocational School in Sulechow. She speaks Polish and English. |

Jimmy Hallin is IT Director. He's responsible for the development of GES' IT systems, both for the internal analysis system and for external client services. Jimmy has worked in IT and finance since the 90's as a Systems Architect and IT Manager, developing high volume financial systems and integrating companies. He has international experience as a consultant from Milan and Rome. Jimmy has studied Mathematics and Physics at the Uppsala University. He speaks Swedish and English. |

Flemming Hedén is Senior Research Analyst and Product Manager. He is well-experienced in working with sustainability performance of organisations, including climate change strategies and GRI based sustainability reporting, most recently as Sustainability Advisor at Goodpoint AB (formerly Kemi & Miljö AB). Previously, he has worked as Senior Specialist in Sustainability at LM Ericsson and Specialist in Life Cycle Assessments and Product Development Manager at Telia. Flemming has a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the Uppsala University. He speaks Swedish and English. |

Magdalena Håkansson is Director of GES' Stockholm office and Client Manager. She is mainly servicing clients in the Nordic markets and explores further business opportunities in this region. Before joining GES in 2007, Magdalena worked at financial institutions such as SEB and Goldman Sachs. She has several years of experience from working with international financial institutions on corporate actions and especially within proxy voting. She has a Master of Science in Business Administration from the International Business School in Jönköping. Magdalena speaks Swedish and English. |

He is responsible for news monitoring, reporting on violations of international norms on ESG issues and analysis of incidents. Previously, Michal has worked in the PR department for American Eagle Outfitters and at the Bank of Food Economy in Zielona Gora. He has a Bachelor of Arts in Statistics from the Hunter College of the City University of New York. Michal speaks Polish and English. |

Maja Kostrzewa is Research Analyst. She has an education from the University of Wroclaw as certified French translator and has also worked as such. During her post-graduate education she studied International Trade at the University of Economics in Wroclaw. In addition, Maja has gained experience from European Culture, Law and Economy via her studies at the European University in Frankfurt an der Oder. She speaks Polish and English. |

Agnieszka Kulczyńska is Research Analyst and Product Manager for GES Alert Service, where she is responsible for the quality of news monitoring and processing. She also works with GES Global Ethical Standard focusing on ESG performance of companies within the extractive industries sector. Previously, Agnieszka has worked as a teacher of English, Cambridge ESOL examiner, translator and interpreter. She has a Master’s degree in English from the University of Silesia in Katowice and has also a Certificate in Management Studies from the North Hertfordshire College, UK. Paulina has a Master of Arts in International Relations, with specialization on Eastern Studies from the University of Poznan. Jakob König is Senior Research Analyst. He conducts norm-based research and engagement, with particular expertise within freedom of speech and privacy issues, humanitarian law, labour rights and supply chain monitoring. He is also responsible for engaging with international fund managers in a scheme to promote integration of ESG issues in their investment process. Jakob has a Master of Science in Economics and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and has working experience from a number of asset managers in Sweden and Germany. Her responsibilities mainly cover severity assessments of reported violations, editing Alerts and working on cases within extractive industry. Previously, Justyna worked as a Project Manager in an IT company, and has also been involved in coordinating projects for an NGO helping disabled children. She has a Master’s degree in Labour Pedagogy from the University of Zielona Góra and is a certified auditor of quality, environment and health and safety systems. Justyna speaks Polish and English. |

Susanne Nyman is Co-founder and Communications Director. She is responsible for GES' external communications and provides existing and potential clients as well as media and other business contacts with news about GES and its work via the website, press releases and newsletters. Susanne is an educated journalist from the Stockholm School of Journalism. She was previously employed in the local and weekly press and as a Greenpeace campaigner within Oil Exploitation. Susanne speaks Swedish and English. |

Fredric Nyström is Key Account Manager. He is servicing clients in the Nordic area, the Netherlands and the UK, striving to make sure that GES meets, or outperforms, the client’s expectations. In his daily work he interacts with the clients to help them develop their ESG policies and explore new business opportunities. Fredric has previously worked at Svenska Handelsbanken with discretionary asset management and institutional sales. Fredric has studied National Economics and Development Studies at Mälardalen University and the University of Gothenburg. He speaks Swedish and English. |

Anna Pajak-Swirska is Research Analyst. She works primarily with Risk Rating, performing analyses on Environment and Human Rights aspects. Before she joined GES, Anna worked as Quality Specialist and a sales representative. She has a Master's degree in Philosophy from the University in Zielona Gora. Her post-graduate education was Management of Human Resources. During her studies Anna explored e.g. the issues of Ethics and Philosophy of Law, including Human Rights problems. Cecilia Procopé Repinski is Key Account Manager and Strategic Development Manager. She focuses on the Scandinavian and New European markets as well as GES’ Risk Rating clients. Cecilia is also involved in product development and explores opportunities to engage clients and partners in sustainability projects. Before joining GES, Cecilia worked with financial institutions at the World Resources Institute in Washington DC. She has also worked in Southeast Asia and has a Master's degree in Environmental Management from the Stockholm University. She speaks Swedish and English. |

Hanna Roberts is Engagement Director and leads the work of the Research & Engagement Department together with Anna Zetterström. She is responsible for developing the company’s engagement activities. She most recently comes from the International Institute for Industrial Environmental Economics at Lund University. In addition, Hanna has been active in Amnesty International for more than 20 years – serving as chairperson of both the Swedish chapter and Amnesty International Worldwide. Hanna holds a Master of Science in Biology as well as Environmental Management and Policy from Lund University. |

Aurora Samuelsson is Research Analyst. She is mainly working with GES Global Ethical Standard and is focused on the retail industry. Currently, Aurora is involved in several projects regarding commodity products such as cotton, palm oil and cocoa. Before joining GES, she worked with Amnesty Business Group Sweden where she developed and produced country risk analysis reports and was a board member. Aurora has a Bachelor of Arts in European Studies with Spanish and has working experience from the service sector and the telecom industry. She speaks Swedish, English and Spanish. |

Katarzyna Stachów is Research Analyst and Product Manager for GES Risk Rating. Apart from analytical work she is also responsible for product development as well as quality maintenance and improvement. Before joining GES, Katarzyna worked as a Quality Control Inspector for a telecommunications equipment company in Ireland. Her educational background is English and she also completed American Studies at Warsaw University, where her studies focused on Business Ethics. She speaks Polish and English. |

Arvinder is responsible for inhumane weapons policy development and research, as well as GES' quality control system. He also has extensive experience from risk based engagement on emerging markets. Arvinder has a Master of Science in Economics and a Minor in Environmental Management from Copenhagen Business School. He speaks Danish, English and Hindi. |

She focuses on administration within customer relationships and overall marketing, as coordinating deliveries, marketing events and preparing marketing materials. Noora has most recently been marketing trainee at the Swedish-American Chamber of Commerce in Philadelphia. She has a Master of Science in Business and Economics from Uppsala University and she has been studying marketing and management at Singapore Management University. She holds a Master of Political Science with focus on international relations from Uppsala University, including exchange studies in international politics and human rights at Sciences-Po in Paris. |
